RECRUITMENT
Phantom Fury is always looking for new members who enjoy airsoft as much as we do and want to be part of a cohesive, next-level team. Most new members begin in Probie status after being recruited by current Patch Members. If you do not know a PF Member, introduce yourself on the field or contact us by email or Facebook.
At a minimum, recruits must trial with us at a few local games to ensure the team is a good fit. If you are still interested in becoming a Probie afterward, the team will discuss and vote on your acceptance.
If accepted, you will enter Probie status for six months. After that period, the team will decide whether you are ready to be Patched or need more time. You do not need the full PF SOF Kit to be Patched, but you should be making steady progress toward completing the required load-out.
During your Trial or Probie period, the team may determine that you are not a good fit, in which case you will be removed from the team.
Probie’s are not required to have a complete PF SOF Kit, but it is encouraged that you at least have Tan style uniform.
The only restriction for new members is age: you must be at least 16 years old to join PF. Younger players may join only if a parent or guardian is also interested in joining, and both prospective members must complete the recruitment process.
RETAINMENT
To maintain Patched Member status with Phantom Fury, members must meet the following basic attendance and participation expectations.
Members must attend at least six games per year, unless they have significant travel-distance challenges. Of those six events, at least two must be large team MilSim events, such as camping events with strong team attendance, including Nighthawk 14 Hour, Civil War, Viking Airsoft, or similar events. Local members who attend three to four or more large events per year may be exempt from local-game attendance requirements.
Members with long travel distances are expected to attend at least two major events each year. For distance members, MilSim West events count toward this requirement.
Members must be willing and able to play on both NATO and Russian/Militia forces to support team balance at events.
When internal planning begins for large events, members are expected to remain reasonably active to show commitment. Camping is not required for weekend events, but it is strongly encouraged. Members who cannot camp are expected to stay for the full main-day event.
Members facing medical or personal circumstances may request a temporary standdown exception until they are able to return to team activity.
