Maintaining a field is a lot of work. Help out if you can and the rewards 🤑 will be worth the effort 🔫What's Up, Airsofters. Castro here. You've asked for it and the time has come. We are finally having Work Party/Field Improvement day. Please read the whole post.October 19th and 20th, 2024 starting at 9am until 5pm we will be out working at the field. We have 3 major tasks we are focusing on this time around.1. Pull and dispose of those no good, toe grabbing stumps. Most people have kicked them. Plenty have tripped on them. A few of you have pulled a full on yard sale as a result. We aim to reduce the chances of these occurrences. 2. Mowing and weed eating. The goal is not to clear away all the sweet concealment provided by our tall grass, but to make visibility of the stumps better for easier removal, as well as cut back some of the invasive species. If you have weed eaters, please bring them.3. The BIG one. As I'm sure many of you have noticed, some of the building are not in the best of shape. That is going to change. Along with repairing the current buildings, we will be disassembling the village by the pond and moving all those wall sections, along with some additional walls, down on to the main field for reassembly. All of these tasks will serve to improve not only the appearance of the field, but also enhance gameplay by closing up some of the gaps in the main play area and allowing us to implement more game types. So, what's in it for you I hear you ask. We would not ask for work without a reward. The day will be split in to two 4 hour blocks. Each block you are there and working will grant you ONE free gameday. That means TWO free game days for a full days work. Those that join us for the full day will also be treated to some lunch. You must be at least 16 years of age for this one. Carpentry/Landscaping skills are not required but highly valuable. If you have tools related to any of these tasks (drills, ladders, weed eaters, GLOVES, etc) please bring them along. If you've made it this far and your interested in participating, we ask that you reach out to us via this post, Facebook Messenger, or calling the store directly so that we can keep a count on participants. We look forward to seeing you out there. ... See MoreSee Less
